Abstrak

Etnografi adalah rancangan yang berguna untuk mempelajari kelompok di bidang pendidikan; perilaku, keyakinan, dan bahasa mereka; dan bagaimana mereka mengembangkan pola-pola berin-: teraksi yang sama dari waktu ke waktu. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menuliskan tentang hasil kajian artikel direview secara kritis oleh peneliti agar dapat memberikan pemahaman yang kaya tentang etnografi beserta contoh-contoh dalam penelitian bagi pembaca dan calon-calon etnografer khususnya di bidang Pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi literatur dari 10 artikel tentang etnografi. Berdasarkan kesepuluh artikel tersebut didapati bahwa Teknik pengumpulan data yang menjadi pilihan etnografi adalah analisis dokumen, observasi partisipan, wawancara mendalaam dan sejarah kehidupan dengan Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah deskripsi, analisis, dan interpretasi dengan komponen triangulasi yang ditonjolkan untuk membuktikan baahwa data yang didapatkan tetap valid.
