Efek Yoga Terhadap Penuaan Kulit Melalui Pengurangan Stres dan Perbaikan Sirkulasi Darah

Yoga merupakan latihan mind–body yang menekankan keseimbangan tubuh, pikiran, dan pernapasan. Dalam bidang dermatologi estetika, yoga semakin diperhatikan karena efeknya terhadap keseimbangan sistem saraf, endokrin, dan sirkulasi darah yang berpotensi memperlambat penuaan kulit. Mekanisme utama mencakup penurunan stres psikologis dan kadar kortisol, peningkatan kapasitas antioksidan, serta perbaikan mikrosirkulasi kulit. Stres kronis terbukti mempercepat penuaan melalui peningkatan radikal bebas dan penurunan sintesis kolagen dermal. Beberapa penelitian menunjukkan bahwa latihan yoga rutin dapat meningkatkan oksigenasi kulit, memperbaiki elastisitas, dan menurunkan tanda penuaan dini. Kajian ini meninjau bukti ilmiah terkini mengenai efek yoga terhadap penuaan kulit melalui mekanisme biologis dan psikologis.
