Pengaruh Penggunaan Media Audio Visual Terhadap Hasil Belajar IPA di Sekolah Dasar: A Systematic Literature Review

Audio visual media is media that combines elements of sound and images to convey a message. The application of audio-visual media in the learning process will certainly increase the effectiveness and efficiency of teaching and learning activities. This can make it easier for students to understand the material more simply and create more enjoyable learning memories. This research aims to examine the literature regarding the influence of the use of audio-visual media on students' science learning outcomes in elementary schools. The research method used is a systematic literature review, with a database found on Google Scholar. The review literature was analyzed based on articles published in 2019-2023 through 3 stages. The results of the literature search in stage 1 obtained publication data with the keyword "use of audio-visual media" totaling 10,300 documents. Next, in the second search stage, by limiting the year and adding the keyword "science learning outcomes" data was obtained for 901 documents. In stage 3, by adding the keyword "students in elementary schools" the data obtained was 115 documents. Then, from this data, it was filtered again based on the inclusion criteria, 9 documents were obtained which would be reviewed and researched in depth. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the use of audio-visual media has proven to influence science learning outcomes in elementary school. Therefore, it is recommended for educators to use suitable media such as audio-visual media which supports the achievement of students' science learning outcomes in elementary schools.
