Pamong acts as a companion, motivator and facilitator in the teaching and learning process. They function as informants, providing various kinds of information regarding learning mechanisms and learning processes. As an organizer, tutors manage academic activities and components related to teaching and learning activities. They also act as motivators, providing advice, inspiration and encouragement to students. Apart from that, tutors act as facilitators, helping students develop skills and knowledge through their own discoveries. In the context of non-formal education, tutors play a very important role in increasing students' learning motivation and abilities. This research aims to explore the role of tutors in helping students deal with learning and emotional problems at school. Qualitative research methods with case studies were used to collect data through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The research results show that tutors play an important role in helping students overcome various problems, such as learning difficulties, anxiety and bullying. Pamong provides emotional support, academic guidance, and social intervention to help students reach their best potential. This research also found that the effectiveness of the teacher's role is influenced by several factors, such as the teacher's competency, the relationship between the teacher and students, and support from the school
