Abstrak

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between maternal knowledge and attitudes with the provision of early complementary feeding in the work area of the Idi Rayeuk Health Center, East Aceh Regency in 2023. This study used a quantitative approach with an observational research type with a cross-sectional study design. The number of samples based on the sample formula was 48 people taken by simple random sampling. There was a significant relationship between knowledge (p = 0.022) and attitudes (p = 0.006) of postpartum mothers with the provision of early complementary feeding in the work area of the Idi Rayeuk Health Center, East Aceh Regency in 2023. It is hoped that health workers will play a role in increasing public knowledge about complementary feeding and increasing their role in efforts to achieve exclusive breastfeeding through counseling and education.
