Penerapan Blending dan Balancing untuk Meningkatkan Kualitas Suara dalam Paduan Suara Punguan INA HKBP Sisordak pada Lagu Parar Ma Ngolungkon

Abstrak

The purpose of this study is to find out what blending and balancing are in a choir and their application. This study uses a qualitative method with a qualitative approach. The stages of data collection in the study used are interviews, observations and documentation. The study was conducted by collecting documents from the three stages of research which were arranged into good data. The Ina Kamis HKBP Sisordak Choir is a choir group that was founded in 2022, which was formed by St. P Purba as the teacher of the HKBP Sisordak school. This study aims to describe the process and results of blending and balancing training in the Ina Kamis HKBP Sisordak Choir. Blending is homogeneity in a choir while balancing is balance and is one of the important aspects in a choir. This study uses a qualitative case study method, with data collection techniques of observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results of the study stated that to achieve a unified blending, uniformity of vocal technique is needed, which focuses on pitch accuracy, proper resonance placement, clear articulation by positioning the mouth perfectly, and uniformity of timbre that is adjusted and can form good blending and balancing in the Ina Kamis HKBP Sisordak Choir. The Ina Kamis HKBP Sisordak Choir can be said to be successful in achieving formation of blending and balancing. This can be proven by the vocalists provided by Rina Sinaga, able to give a significant impact to the unity of sound owned by the HKBP Sisordak Ina Kamis choir. This can also be proven by the appearance of the HKBP Sisordak Seresort choir festival from the Ina Kamis choir which is able to form blending and balancing that is unified and harmonious
