Abstrak

This study aims to determine how the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model alters the learning atmosphere of Network System Administration in the Computer and Network Engineering (TKJ) department and to assess the impact of implementing the PjBL model on enhancing students' creative thinking skills in Network System Administration. The background of this research is based on the low creative thinking skills of students and the suboptimal use of appropriate learning models. The research was conducted at SMKN 4 Takalar during the 2023/2024 academic year using Classroom Action Research (CAR) involving 30 students. The research instruments included tests, observations, and documentation, carried out over two cycles. The data obtained were analyzed both quantitatively and qualitatively. Quantitative analysis was performed to assess students' test results by calculating the average score, while qualitative analysis was used to describe improvements in teacher performance and student activities based on observation sheets. The results indicate that in the first cycle, 67% of students fell into the "sufficient" category and did not reach classical completeness. In the second cycle, there was a significant improvement with 93% of students in the "very good" category and achieving classical completeness. The conclusion of this study is that the application of the PjBL model is effective in enhancing students' creative thinking skills in Network System Administration. This study suggests that educators should be more innovative in designing lessons, including the use of media, methods, and learning models, considering PjBL as an effective learning alternative, especially in the subject of Network System Administration at SMKN 4 Takalar.
