Abstrak

This study aims to examine the principles of Carl Rogers' humanistic theory in the context of student-centered learning. This study uses a literature review method of various scientific sources in the last five years, which are relevant to the theme of humanistic and differentiated learning. The results of the study indicate that the five main principles put forward by Rogers, namely motivation to learn, meaning in the learning process, an atmosphere free from threats or comfortable, learning based on individual desires, and learning as a process of change are very relevant to building an education system that values the potential and uniqueness of each individual. The implementation of this approach has been proven to significantly increase student learning motivation, independence, and learning outcomes. These findings reinforce that Rogers' humanistic theory can be a strong foundation in building education that humanizes students and is responsive to their personal needs.
