Pengembangan E-Modul Pembelajaran Berbasis Literasi Numerasi Untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa kelas X-2 MAS PAB 4 Klumpang dengan pengembangan e-modul berbasis literasi numerasi pada materi sistem persamaan linear tiga variabel. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X-2 MAS PAB 4 Klumpang yang berjumlah 27 orang. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis kevalidan E-Modul yang terdiri dari 2 jenis yaitu validasi ahli materi dan validasi ahli media. Selain itu analisis data juga menggunakan nilai gain untuk mengetahui perbandingan rata-rata pre-test dan post-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) Pengembangan e-modul, memperoleh kategori sangat valid berdasarkan penilaian dari validator dari segi materi dengan persentase yang diperoleh sebesar 85,41%, dan dari segi media diperoleh persentase sebesar 79,15% dengan kategori valid, (2) Hasil analisis nilai gain memperoleh nilai rata-rata sebesar 0,5127 dengan kategori sedang.

Discovery Learning in Efl Writing: A Qualitative Study of Eighth-Grade Students’ Experiences

This qualitative study investigates the experiences of eighth-grade students in learning English writing through the Discovery Learning approach. The research explores how this method influences students’ engagement, challenges, and skill development. Data were collected through interviews, classroom observations, and students’ written works, then analyzed thematically to capture emerging patterns. The findings indicate that Discovery Learning fosters students’ autonomy, motivation, and problem-solving skills, while also encouraging collaboration and active participation. However, challenges in grammar and vocabulary remain, suggesting the need for complementary explicit instruction. Overall, the study provides valuable insights into the effectiveness of Discovery Learning in EFL writing instruction and offers practical implications for English teachers and future researchers.

Pengaruh Model Pembelajaran Card Sort terhadap Hasil Belajar IPAS Pada Materi Magnet Kelas V SD Negeri 058107 Sei Dendang

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Card Sort terhadap hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial (IPAS) pada materi Magnet siswa kelas V SD Negeri 058107 Sei Dendang. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasari oleh rendahnya hasil belajar IPAS dan rendahnya partisipasi siswa dalam pembelajaran yang selama ini didominasi metode konvensional. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen, melibatkan dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen yang diajar menggunakan model Card Sort dan kelas kontrol dengan pembelajaran konvensional. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 50 siswa yang dipilih secara purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes pilihan ganda sebanyak 20 soal yang telah diuji validitas, reliabilitas, tingkat kesukaran, dan daya pembeda. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji normalitas, homogenitas, dan uji-t. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan signifikan antara hasil belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol dengan nilai t hitung lebih besar dari t tabel dan nilai signifikansi < 0,05. Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran Card Sort berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar IPAS siswa pada materi Magnet. Penerapan model ini dapat meningkatkan pemahaman konsep, partisipasi aktif, dan motivasi belajar siswa, sehingga layak direkomendasikan sebagai alternatif strategi pembelajaran IPAS di sekolah dasar.

Pendidikan memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam mencetak generasi yang berkualitas, yang tidak hanya memiliki keterampilan akademik, tetapi juga karakter dan nilai-nilai moral yang baik. Tujuan Penelitian untuk Mengetahui Kelayakan Media Pembelajaran Game Tebak Gambar Berbasis Canva untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa pada Materi Keragaman Suku Bangsa dan Agama di Kelas IV SD Negeri 058107 Sei Dendang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development atau R&D). hasil penelitian menunjukan Pengembangan media pembelajaran berbasis Canva dalam bentuk game tebak gambar dinilai layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran. Media ini menarik perhatian siswa, bersifat interaktif, dan mampu menyajikan materi secara visual sehingga memudahkan pemahaman konsep keragaman suku bangsa dan agama. Oleh karena itu, Sekolah diharapkan memberikan dukungan sarana dan prasarana yang memadai, seperti perangkat digital dan akses internet, agar penggunaan media berbasis teknologi dapat diterapkan secara optimal dalam kegiatan pembelajaran.

Collaboration between Alinda Husada Hospital and 48 Bina Bangsa University Students in Educating the Wise Use of Antibiotics to Prevent Bacterial Resistance

Antibiotic resistance is a global health threat caused by irrational use of antibiotics. In Indonesia, the prevalence of non-prescription antibiotic use remains high, particularly in rural areas such as Pandeglang Regency. This community service program aimed to improve health literacy and public awareness in Karyasari Village regarding the prudent use of antibiotics. The program was conducted through collaboration between Alinda Husada Hospital and Community Service Program (KKM) Group 48 of Universitas Bina Bangsa using a participatory approach. Activities included situation analysis, interactive health education, group discussions, and mentoring. A total of 20 participants, consisting of housewives, health cadres, and elderly community members, joined the sessions. The results showed an increase in community understanding, particularly that antibiotics are only effective for bacterial infections, should not be purchased without a doctor’s prescription, and must be consumed according to medical instructions. Early behavioral changes were also observed, such as the commitment to avoid storing leftover antibiotics and refraining from self-purchasing antibiotics. Group discussions generated initiatives to establish village health cadres as a sustainability effort. This program demonstrates that community-based collaborative education is effective in enhancing health literacy and promoting social change towards more responsible antibiotic use.

The Use of Spatial Manipulatives to Improve Fifth Grade Students' Motivation to Learn Mathematics at Tutuhu Public Elementary School, Morotai Island Regency

This study aimed to enhance students’ learning motivation in mathematics through the use of three-dimensional teaching aids. This research was conducted as Classroom Action Research (CAR) at SD Negeri Tutuhu, Pulau Morotai, involving 14 fifth-grade students. The research was carried out in two cycles, each consisting of two meetings, following the steps of planning, acting, observing, and reflecting. Data were collected using observation sheets, tests, and documentation, and analyzed using qualitative and quantitative techniques. Findings showed that students' motivation and learning outcomes improved significantly after implementing teaching aids. In Cycle I, 50% of students achieved the minimum mastery criterion (≥66), while in Cycle II this increased to 80%. The use of visual and tangible learning media made lessons more engaging, fostered active participation, and improved conceptual understanding of geometric solids. These results suggest that incorporating concrete teaching aids in mathematics can effectively raise both motivation and achievement at the elementary level.

By analyzing how Gen Z uses digital English including slang, abbreviations, and code-switching. This research reveals patterns in their communication that differ from traditional language use. The study employs a mixed-methods approach, combining content analysis of social media interactions with surveys among Gen Z users. The findings suggest that digital English reflects both linguistic creativity and the influence of global connectivity, which challenges conventional English teaching methods. The research emphasizes the need for educators to integrate digital literacy and contemporary language practices into English curricula to better engage Gen Z learners and enhance their communicative competence in the digital age.

Lecturer’s Strategies In Teaching Speaking Through Blended Learning And Its Impacts On Students’ English Speaking

This study is aimed at portraying lecturer’s strategies in teaching speaking to students at university and recognizing the impacts of strategies used by the English lecturer by involving an English lecturer and also students of university. In collecting the data, depth interview were conducted to identify the strategies of teaching speaking. Therefore, the inductive analysis was used to analyze the data of results interview. The result revealed that the strategies used by the lecturer to encourage the students to learning were: 1) giving interactive communication and time management, 2) assist the students with the internet connections’ problem, 3) prepare teaching plan and using appropriate technology, 4) conducting an innovative teaching models. The impacts of teaching speaking through Blended Learning motivate the students more active in learning, creating learner’s positive thinking and increasing the learner’s motivation.

Proportionality of Punishment for Drug Crimes: A Critical Analysis and Its Implications for Legal Education

This study aims to analyze the wording of criminal provisions and fines in Law No. 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics, particularly regarding the disparity in punishment between narcotics dealers, distributors, and couriers. The method used is a legal-normative study with an empirical approach, employing Critical Legal Theory to examine the legal text and the socio-economic context of narcotics offenders. The data used consists of primary and secondary data, which are analyzed and presented qualitatively. The discussion revealed that the wording of the provisions related to sentencing, particularly Articles 112 to 115, attempts to equate the penalties for couriers, who merely transport narcotics, with those for dealers who play a strategic role in the network. This provision effectively ignores the differences in the roles, benefits, and power dynamics of the perpetrators, leading to substantive injustice in the application of the law. The main recommendation is to amend the wording of the articles regulating the status of perpetrators in drug trafficking with proportional penalties. Second, in enforcing the law, judges should consider the role and economic conditions of couriers in deciding cases, so that the sentences imposed are not the same as those for dealers. Reform of criminal sentencing and drug-related criminal justice policies must be directed toward proportionality and substantive justice to achieve a more humane and responsive legal system.

Online Media and Strengthening Nationalism (Case Study of News Coverage of the Indonesian Veterans Legion in Southeast Sulawesi Province)

This article examines how social media can serve as a means of strengthening nationalism through reporting on the activities of the Indonesian Veterans Legion (LVRI) in Southeast Sulawesi Province. This research was conducted using content analysis and is categorized as qualitative. The results found that reporting on the activities of the Indonesian Veterans Legion in Southeast Sulawesi Province on local online media platforms has proven to have a strategic role in shaping and strengthening nationalism, especially among the younger generation in Southeast Sulawesi Province. Online media is not only a channel for information, but also an effective space for education and public participation in maintaining the nation's collective memory. However, this effectiveness still requires support from various parties, including the government, educational institutions, and digital communities.
