Abstrak

Kemampuan berpikir kreatif merupakan sebuah kemampuan dalam memahami masalah, mengembangkan gagasan, dan memandang masalah dari berbagai sudut pandang yang berbeda sehingga siswa dapat mengungkapkan banyak gagasan serta melahirkan karya yang baru dalam penyelesaian masalahan. Kemampuan berpikir kreatif merupakan salah satu kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi yang perlu dikembangkan dalam pembelajaran. Pengembangan kemampuan berpikir kreatif dapat dilakukan melalui problem based learning. Problem based learning (PBL) adalah pembelajaran yang berorientasi pada masalah sebagai upaya memperoleh pengetahuan baru. PBL membantu siswa dalam mengaitkan pengetahuan serta konsep yang dimiliki dalam memecahkan suatu permasalahan, sehingga pada akhirnya diperoleh pengentahuan baru. Dalam kajian literatur ini akan dipaparkan pengunaan PBL untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa dalam pembelajaran matematika.
