Pengaruh Model PBL Sisw Terhadap Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis dan Pemahaman Konsep IPA a SMK Merah Putih School Metro

This study aims to determine differences in critical thinking skills and students' understanding of science concepts in classes taught using the PBL model and classes taught without using the PBL model in class XI students of SMK Merah Putih School Metro. The research approach used is quantitative with a quasi-experimental research type. The population in this study were all students of class XI at SMK Merah Putih School Metro, Kota Metro. The sampling technique uses a saturated sample, so the entire population is used as a sample. Data collection techniques using test methods in the form of pre-test and post-test. The data analysis technique used was the Independent Sample Test, which previously tested the prerequisites, namely normality and homogeneity. The results of this study indicate that the results of the Independent Sample Test post test obtained the value of Sig. of 0.000. Where 0.000 < 0.05 then ???????? is rejected and ???????? is accepted, meaning that there are differences in the ability to think critically and understand the science concept of students in classes taught using the PBL model with classes taught without using the PBL model in class students of SMK Merah Putih School Metro. So, it can be concluded that in this study the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model has an influence on students' critical thinking skills and understanding of students' natural science concepts.
