Implementasi Pembelajaran Tematik Integratif dalam Pendidikan Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Pada Kurikulum Merdeka

Thematic integrative learning is a holistic educational approach designed to interconnect multiple disciplines within a unified theme that reflects real-life contexts. This study explores the implementation of thematic learning in Islamic Elementary Education (Madrasah Ibtidaiyah) under the Merdeka Curriculum. Using a literature review approach, this article examines the conceptual foundation, teaching models, advantages, and challenges faced by teachers in applying integrative learning. Findings suggest that thematic learning enhances students’ critical thinking, collaboration, and values-based character formation while aligning with Islamic educational principles.
