The Use of Sensory Blocks in Developing the Sensory Systems of Children in Groups A and B at Darul Arifin Islamic Kindergarten, Jambi

This research is motivated by the importance of sensory stimulation through sensory play to strengthen brain nerve connections in early childhood. The purpose of this study is to observe directly how the use of sensory blocks helps the sensory development of children at Darul Arifin Islamic Kindergarten, Jambi. Researchers wanted to observe how children interact with real objects, such as touching smooth or hard textures, to train their touch and sight skills. The method in this study used a descriptive qualitative approach to directly observe how the use of sensory blocks helps the development of children in groups A and B at Darul Arifin Islamic Kindergarten, Jambi. The results showed that the use of sensory blocks with varying textures, such as hard stone and soft dacron, effectively increased the sharpness of the sense of touch and hand-eye coordination of children. This activity was proven to strengthen motor coordination and help children become more focused and calm during the learning process in class.
