This study aims to analyse the problem of implementing local wisdom-based learning for fifth-grade students at SD Negeri Gorua The background of this research is the importance of integrating local culture into education to shape students character. However, its implementation faces several challenges such as limited teacher resources, students low interest, the influence of technology, and lack of parental involvement. This study employed a descriptive approach with interviews, observations, and documentation as data collection techniques. The results reveal that although teachers and students understand the concept of local wisdom-based learning, obstacles remain, including limited teaching materials, insufficient time, and weak family support. The school’s efforts include reacher training, development of learning media from the local environment, collaboration with parents, and strengthening of cultural-based activities. This research is expected to contribute to the development of local wisdom-based learning in elementary schools.
