Pengembangan Media Video Pembelajaran dalam Pembelajaran IPA Tentang Daur Air Pada Peserta Didik Kelas V di Sekolah Dasar

Abstrac : This research aims to develop an animated learning video as a learning medium for Natural Science (Science) lessons on the water cycle topic for fifth-grade elementary school students. The study employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, consisting of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation stages. The research subjects were fifth-grade students who had difficulty understanding the water cycle concept. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and expert evaluations by material and media experts as well as classroom teachers. The results show that the developed learning video is highly feasible, achieving an average feasibility score of 90%. Implementation in the classroom demonstrated improved learning motivation and students’ conceptual understanding of evaporation, condensation, and precipitation processes. Teachers also stated that the video effectively clarified abstract concepts and fostered more interactive classroom activities. Therefore, the animated learning video is proven to enhance the effectiveness of science learning in elementary schools, particularly in the water cycle material.
