Abstrak

This research aims to know teachers' perceptions of the benefits and challenges they faced when using Artificial Intelligence (AI) in learning. The method used in this study is qualitative, and the participants in this study consisted of two teachers from SMP Negeri 20 Pulau Morotai, one teacher from SMA Muhammadiyah I Morotai and one of MAS. Nurul Huda Gotalamo. The researcher collected data using three research instruments, namely interviews, questionnaires, and written reflection. The data were analyzed using Thematic Analysis. The results of this study indicate that Artificial Intelligence (AI) has a positive impact or benefits on learning, such as helping teachers to search necessary material, becoming interesting learning tools, and increasing students motivation to  learn. while the challenges are the students who are unfamiliar with the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
