Analisis Peristiwa Tutur dengan Metode SPEAKING (Setting and Scene, Participants, Ends, Act Sequences, Key, Instrumentalities, Norm of Interaction and Interpretation, Genres) dalam Acara Talk Show Q&A di Metro Tv

This study aims to describe and explain speech events using the SPEAKING method in the Q&A talk show on Metro TV and to describe and explain the similarities and differences in speech events in the Q&A talk show in each episode. This study was conducted in October 2024 with a focus on studying speech events in the Q&A talk show. The research method used is a qualitative method. The data collection technique in this study is the free-involved conversation method. The data for this study are speech events in the Q&A talk show by taking 3 episodes that aired on November 12, 2023, June 16, 2024, and September 8, 2024. Based on the problems and discussions that have been carried out by the researcher, speech events in the Q&A talk show in the episodes “Kiky, Is It Dangerous?”, “Who's afraid of Anies?”, and “Komeng Has a Shield”, in the results of the analysis studied have met the requirements for SPEAKING speech events (Setting and Scene, Participants, Ends, Act Sequences, Key, Instrumentalities, Norm of Interaction and Interpretation, Genres). Similarities and differences of speech events in each episode based on the results of the analysis of the speech events, there are 7 similarities and 3 differences. Based on these results, it can be concluded that all episodes have met the requirements of speech events and from the three episodes there are 7 similarities and 3 differences.
