Deiksis Persona, Deiksis Ruang, dan Deiksis Waktu dalam Buku Seri Cerita Rakyat 34 Provinsi: Bawang Merah Bawang Putih Karya Dian K

Abstrak

This research aims to explain the use of types of deixis and identify the function of deixis in the fairy tale book entitled “34 Provinces Folklore Series: Bawang Merah Bawang Putih”, by Dian K. This research uses qualitative methods with a descriptive approach. The results of this research are words and sentences in a fairy tale book entitled “34 Provinces Folktale Series: Bawang Merah Bawang Putih”, by Dian K. The analysis techniques in this research include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results found in this study were 45 deixis data. The types of deixis found in the fairy tale book entitled “34 Provinces Folktale Series: Bawang Merah Bawang Putih”, by Dian K are person deixis, place deixis, and time deixis. Then the function is the function of personal deixis which refers to someone who is speaking, directs to the person who is being spoken to, or directs to someone who is being spoken to. Furthermore, the function of place deixis is a function that refers to a place that is not far from the speaker and a function that is far from the speaker. There is also a time deixis function, namely a function that refers to a time when the conversation takes place and a function that refers to before the time when the speech takes place.
