Pengaruh Dukungan Teman Sebaya Terhadap Motivasi Belajar Peserta Didik Kelas V SD Negeri Sendangsari

This study aims to analyze the effect of peer support on the learning motivation of fifth-grade students at Sendangsari State Elementary School. The research employed a quantitative approach with an ex post facto method. The sample consisted of 19 students selected through total sampling. Data were collected using a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed through simple linear regression with the assistance of the JASP program. The results showed that peer support had a positive and significant effect on students’ learning motivation (β = 0.964; t = 6.890; p < 0.001; R² = 0.74). This means that 74% of the variance in learning motivation can be explained by peer support. These findings emphasize the importance of fostering positive social relationships within the elementary school environment to enhance students’ enthusiasm for learning. Therefore, positive peer relationships can foster enthusiasm, self-confidence, and persistence in the learning process. The study recommends that schools create a supportive social environment that encourages cooperation and positive interactions among students to enhance their learning motivation.
