Abstract

This study aims to analyze the instillation of Pancasila values ​​and the formation of student character through the implementation of Citizenship Education (PKn) learning based on the Independent Curriculum at SDN 1 Sentul. This study was conducted using a qualitative descriptive approach, using observation, interview, and documentation techniques with teachers and fourth-grade students. The results show that Civics learning has been structured in accordance with the principles of the Independent Curriculum, which emphasizes active student participation, cooperation, and the relevance of material to real-life situations. Teachers use methods such as group discussions, questions and answers, and presentations to shape values ​​such as responsibility, cooperation, discipline, and respect for the opinions of others. However, the learning media used are still limited and periodic assessments have not been fully recorded. The learning carried out has succeeded in shaping students' character positively, especially in understanding the rights and obligations as citizens. The implementation of Civics at SDN 1 Sentul shows that Pancasila values ​​can strengthen students' national character through the need for increased media variety, individual assessment, and parental involvement.
